‘WhatsApp from Facebook’ tag added in the latest beta
Everybody knows that Facebook owned the WhatsApp from the year 2014. Moreover, after then it comes with various features. So, this year, ‘WhatsApp from Facebook’ tag added in the latest beta. Maybe we all are curious to know fully about it.
The latest update of the WhatsApp is that it is added ‘WhatsApp from Facebook’ tag to the application.
When Facebook owned the WhatsApp in the year 2014, then in less than a week there was this feature that was out called ‘Fingerprint Lock’ for its Android beta users.
The tag can be seen in WhatsApp Settings and is an apparent sign of Facebook marking its territory. The MSPoweruser reported on Saturday that even though Facebook has kept the app separate, the company has not given up on the dream of a joined platform.
The social networking site i.e. Facebook has purchased it back in February 2014 and has made certain that people know about the purchase and maybe this is one more step in that way.
In the meantime, when the Fingerprint lock feature is allowed, it would let people use fingerprint to open WhatsApp.
WABetaInfo, a fan website that tracks WhatsApp updates, reported earlier this week that users would still be able to answer calls even when your WhatsApp is locked.
If you want to allow it, you need to open WhatsApp “Settings” icon and then go the “Account” section and then to the “Privacy” section where one can spot the “Fingerprint Lock”.
WABetaInfo informed before using that, you have to update your WhatsApp version to the 2.19.221 Android beta,
The previous update might get the feature as well, but WhatsApp is always used to allow features in recent updates (that may contain improvements for the feature and bug fixes), so you should install the 2.19.221 update as above-mentioned.
